OITE Announces Fall Curriculum
The OITE fall curriculum will address key skills fellows need to succeed in their research and their career and educational endeavors. Below, we highlighted some programs we think are particularly useful.
Becoming a Resilient Scientist
This series will feature lectures and group discussions focusing on various aspects of resilience, including wellness, imposter fears, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, feedback, and mentoring.
Participants who attend all five lectures and join at least four small-group discussions will receive a certificate of completion.

Faculty Job Search Series
The Faculty Job Series begins with "Faculty/Research Careers in the NIH Intramural Research Program" on September 4, followed by "Overview of Job Packages" on September 18, and "Faculty Job Interviewing" on November 20. In line with the academic job cycle, job negotiation workshops will be offered in the spring. Please note that the "Teaching Science in Higher Education" course is being updated and will return in the spring.
Tool Up Your Job Search Workshops
These workshops cater to all career paths and focus on essential skills for transitioning to your next position. Upcoming sessions include "Interviewing Skills" on September 16, "Career Planning for Scientists" on October 9, "Networking" on November 6, and "CVs and Resumes" on December 2. (Please note that "Interviewing Skills" and "CVs and Resumes" will be held on Mondays this year.)

An Introduction to Early Phase Clinical Trials Design

What’s New at FAES?
Free Fall Course: Unraveling the Interplay of Genes, Proteins, and Glycans through Bioinformatics
