Quantitative Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (QFLIM) Workshop
NHLBI and the North Atlantic Microscope Society invite you to their Inaugural Quantitative Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (QFLIM) workshop at NIH in Bethesda, co-organized by Jay Knutson (NIH) and Chris Combs (NIH), on November 7th, 2024. Fellows Award for Research Excellence (FARE) Committee Updates
The FARE Committee has sent winning abstracts to the heads of Scientific Interest Groups (SIG), who are currently selecting winners for the SIG award. FARE2025 winners will be published on the FARE OITE website in October. Recruitment for the FARE2026 committee will begin in October. If interested, contact Danielle Buglak (danielle.buglak@nih.gov).
Women Scientist Fellows (WSF) Committee Updates
The WSF Committee invites you to join their new communication platform on Discord. For questions, contact Eva Hellsberg (eva.hellsberg@nih.gov) or Ana Esteve-Sole (ana.esteve-sole@nih.gov). WSF is also hosting the Women & Gender Minority Book Club, currently reading THE EXCEPTIONS. Upcoming meetings are on October 16th and 30th, with the final meeting on November 13th. Each session covers three chapters. You can join at any time, even if you haven’t attended previous meetings or finished the book.
